Troy Burne isn’t just for golfers! Among the many groups organized in this community, the book club gives women residents a chance to read and reflect. Each month a group gathers at one of the residents’ homes who has selected a book for the attendees to read and discuss. The hostess provides a light snack to start the night with casual conversation before the book discussion and questions/answers gets started. A variety of fiction/non-fiction authors and genres are covered. During the month of December the group passes on a reading a book to gather for a dinner together at a restaurant and collect a donation for a local charity. What a great way to meet neighbors and build your reading repertoire!
