Becky and I love the annual Hot Air Affair balloon festival in Hudson, WI during the first full weekend in February.
It started many years ago when we started bringing our family to E.P. Rock School grounds in Hudson to watch MoonGlow, as well as the balloons ascending overhead 20 years ago. As Realtors who live, work, and play in Hudson WI we are huge fans of the Hudson Hot Air Affair participating annually in the Hot Air Affair parade alongside the RE/MAX hot air balloon through downtown followed by a firework display. We have even hosted a hot air balloon basket and dressed in a Pirate costume theme to join in the fun for the “Pirates Fly’n the Croix-Ribbean” theme year.
Bundle up, grab your favorite hot beverage (or maybe Peppermint Schnapps) to stay warm and have lots of fun at the weekend event to make it a wonderful family experience. Yes, we have winter but that doesn’t mean you cannot get out and enjoy yourself!
